"Like the Cutizzi, this wine is also packaged in its distinctive ribbed bottle. The Feudi di San Gregorio 2019 Fiano di Avellino Pietracalda is an etched and sharply focused expression. Production is an ample 50,000 bottles. The wine delivers crushed stone and oyster shell with candied lemon and almond. However, it is that lasting mineral note that gives this wine its competitive taste advantage. Put this pretty bottle on the table with a platter of marinated scampi." - Monica Larner
"Pietracalda" is the most representative Fiano di Avellino of Feudi di San Gregorio: a rich but balanced white wine, with intense and fruity aromas. The softness and aromatic richness of the grape are balanced by a lively freshness and minerality, to give this wine a great drinking pleasure.
