It is a formidable Chianti Riserva that is often unanimous with the international press, it sports delicate notes of blackberries and dried plums supported by tasty spices and roasted aromas.
Produced from one of the oldest plots of the appellation, this Chianti has finesse and elegance coupled with character and intense aromas, giving it significant aging potential. Aged in barrels then in bottles, it reveals powerful aromas of black fruits, spices and roasted notes (tobacco, coffee) on the nose, supported by minty notes giving it a lot of freshness. On the palate it is soft, suave and complex. It is a Chianti Classico Riserva with character and which will be able to open up and express itself more beautifully over time.

The story of Carpineto winery began in 1967 by the joint efforts of Giovanni Carlo Sacchet and Antonio Mario Zaccheo. The duo set a goal to make their Chianti Classico DOCG wines well-famous around the globe, and they did it. Over the years, they got numerous awards and recognitions by the wine critics for their flagship red wines. With the help of their families, Carlo and Mario kept the traditional winemaking methods alive, combined with innovative and state-of-the-art processes. Today, 95% of the wine production is red wines, along with the rest of the wines include luscious white, rose, dessert, and sparkling wines, all made under the Toscana IGT and Chianti DOCG statuses.
