The palate has prominent, bright red fruits and an obvious floral lift. Tannins are grippy and fresh, and fine acid provides a tight structure. Long, balanced and complex, this is an elegant wine that will age well.
Marked by a distinctly herbal note - somewhere between eucalyptus and capsicum - and bright cassis fruit, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon is a streamlined, medium to full-bodied effort that lacks the richness or gravitas of the winery's other bottlings. It's still an attractive Cabernet for near-term consumption.

The estate has a long history dating back to 1890 when the Parker family first established their vineyards. Today, Parker Coonawarra Estate Wines is known for producing exceptional red wines that are highly sought after by wine enthusiasts all over the world.

The winery's philosophy is centered around producing wines that are a true reflection of the terroir of the Coonawarra region. The estate's vineyards are planted on the famous terra rossa soil, which is renowned for producing some of the finest red wines in the world. Parker Coonawarra Estate Wines is particularly known for their Cabernet Sauvignon, which is rich and full-bodied with intense blackcurrant and berry flavors.
