Colonel E.H. Taylor Small Batch is a Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey distilled at Buffalo Trace. This distillery is the oldest American unit still in operation. It is precisely this famous colonel who allowed it to last so long, thanks to a number of modernizations carried out during its takeover in 1870.
This blend comes from a small batch, which is relative in the bourbon world, since a good hundred casks were necessary. Note that this is the most important toast that is applied to barrels of this brand, the level 4 toast, known as "alligator".
